Before we left we sent an email requesting a full refund. He came back and said that was not an option so at 1:45 am we left to go back home to get some sleep.

At 1:15 am my husband again went downstairs and asked if we could be moved to another room. Makes sense now why the party was moved upstairs. We were made aware that the Birthday girl got kicked out of the casino for public intoxication. Next we speak to the head security gentleman who knew exactly which room we were inquiring about since he had gotten other calls to that room previously that night. Speaking of which we had called the front desk 2x to have security come up to that room do settle things down before we went downstairs ourselves to see what was going on. I would think you would party at the casino downstairs or go to a bar and Uber back and come up to your room to crash, but nope all we heard was loud dance music from the other side of the wall and people running up and down the halls, slamming doors and furniture until 1:30 am! This is NOT Daytona Beach, FL on Spring Break people! Oh did I forget to mention the pot party in the sitting area in front of the elevators outside our room? We probably could have gotten high on the fumes on our trip downstairs to the front desk to speak to security. Believe me you couldn't miss hearing the lady running down the hall yelling 'It's my birthday' OK, so I get it you want to party and have a good time for your birthday. We got back up to our room for the evening around 10:00 pm and there was a party happening on the other side of the wall.

The room #2513 was literally outside of the where the elevators are and although not ideal, we thought well it can't be all that bad. We arrived around 3:00 pm or so and we were able to get right into our room. Obviously we knew many of the amenities were not available due to the pandemic, but we wanted to visit the casino and do a little gambling and enjoy a nice stay for the evening.

We booked a room for Friday, August 14, 2020. My husband and I decided to go away for the evening for our wedding anniversary back to the Valley Forge Casino Resort where we got married 2 years before.
